About

Colossus wants to make your holiday memorable - we have morning discussions about what's on, where to visit, weather forecasts and general island information (speacialising in local wrecks and wild flowers). When I'm not sea swimming, foraging or ironing, I spend my afternoons busy in the garden growing fresh fruit for breakfast when conditions allow. Blackberry picking in autumn for home-made breakfast preserves. Eggs are usually sourced from a farm close by - lovely fresh yellow yolks.

Situated in a quiet location overlooking the lower moors. Take a right and its a 7 minute walk to Hugh Town, with shops, restaurants, public houses and three beaches. Then 2 minutes further brings you to the harbour and boats to take you to the off-islands. Take a left and its a 5 minute walk to the picturesque village of Old Town, with cafes and art and craft studios.

Within a few minutes walk you can find yourself on a coastal path which leads you directly to rugged Peninnis Headland and its late 19th Century built Lighthouse.

Super King-sized Double or Twin bedded room with Ensuite facilities and Normal Double (4' 6") with Private Bathroom,

TV, Heating, Hot Drink making facilities - Hairdryer -DVD and Free Broadband Wi-Fi . We are a Non Smoking establishment and don't take dogs. Children must be over 12 years.

Come to Scilly and relax and enjoy taking life at a slower pace with great views, fantastic coastal walks and lovely jaunts to smaller off islands.

Miranda Krestovnikoff of The One Show and Coast says about Colossus B&B: “Thank you so much for making my stay so comfortable. You have a lovely house and it was a real pleasure to meet you both and talk 'diving'. I hope to be back soon with the family for another visit - find me a new wreck to dive! Best Wishes Miranda x”
