About

Parkside is situated in the heart of Hugh Town, overlooking the small park, and within a short walk from the banks, shops, restaurants, public houses, Post Office, harbour and many other amenities the town offers. The popular Porthcressa and Town beaches are both within a minute’s walk from the property. Parkside is a traditional, double-fronted granite cottage, offering bright accommodation of much character, with its beamed ceilings, sliding sash windows and exposed granite internally. The property has been tastefully refurbished to bring it up to modern standards but retaining many original features. New wall mounted heaters give the cottage a cosy feel whilst the slate flooring throughout the ground floor and rough plastered walls add texture and interest. There is a wall mounted TV with Freeview in the lounge which can be enjoyed from the comfort of leather reclining sofa and armchair. Newly fitted kitchen and ground floor shower room are a stylish addition. Accommodation is in a double bedroom and a twin, both with wall mounted T.V.'s. with Freeview. Wifi is provided and the USB sockets for charging are very thoughtful. A lovely base for two couples sharing, or families with children over 5 years old.
