If you like to be close to the sea you really can’t beat the location of Reculver, right on The Strand. Cross the road onto Holgates Green and watch the islands slowly wake up as the waves lap gently onto Town Beach below or spend the day with the kids, combing the beach for treasures or discovering sea life in the rockpools.

Looking to get out and explore the islands, in just a few minutes you can be on the quay where you can take a boat trip to the off-islands or if you don’t want to go too far, hire a bike or golf buggy and discover what else St. Marys has to offer.

Fancy a quieter day? Grab your favourite book, fling open the patio doors and relax in the sunshine whilst the rest of the family are off exploring.

In the evening it’s Cocktail time! Will it be a Pina Colada or a Martini, shaken not stirred, just make sure you’ve stocked up on your favourite tipple and see what recipes you can come up with at your very own bar!
