Garrison House Apartment is convenient for local amenities, yet also offering both peace and tranquility. The amazing views can also be enjoyed from the lovely garden and deck where there is a barbecue for guests’ use. The garden is a quiet haven for many birds. There is always something on the water to watch and occasionally a seal may be spotted below the house. At the height of summer, views of the wonderful sunsets over Samson can also be enjoyed.
Garrison House was built in the 1700s and its original use is thought to have been a rocket store, cart shed and stables for the castle. At one time it was used as the infantry barracks and in the late 19th century became home to the coastguards and their families. The house has been extensively renovated and refurbished in recent years to provide a high standard of guest accommodation with it's own private access. There is good separation and sound proofing between the Apartment and the owner's residence. Garrison House is perfect for two couples or a family of four in one king and one superking/twin ensuite bedrooms. The kitchen and living room are very well equipped to provide four-star, gold award facilities and there is a cloakroom/utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer
