The Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust and partners are delighted to bring you the Festival of Nature, split over two long weekends this May and October.

There will be guided walks, fascinating talks, creative workshops including nature writing, events, and quizzes. We are excited to be showcasing our diverse environments and celebrating sustainability across the archipelago.

Every day from 4- 6pm, The Festival team will be in the Slip Inn Bar at the Mermaid Inn, Hugh Town, St. Mary’s to answer your wildlife questions. The bar will be open for drinks. St. Mary’s Boatman’s Association (SMBA) run daily trips to the off-islands (check their Facebook page and their chalkboard for times, usually departing St. Mary’s 10:15am). If you’re staying off-island, please contact St. Agnes Boating (for St. Agnes, 01720 422704), Tresco Boating (for Bryher and Tresco, 01720 423373) or SMBA (for St. Martin’s, 01720 423999).

Bookings for events will begin in February 2023, and we will outline how to book each event. The Tourist Information Centre, Porthcressa, St. Mary’s will be happy to assist you. You can email them at info@visitisleofscilly.com or call them on 01720 62060.
