Combining walking, creative writing and yoga / mindfulness, this afternoon course will explore not only St Mary’s coastline, but sources of inspiration for your writing, whether you are interested in creative non fiction, memoir, short stories or novel writing.

Led by Booker-longlisted author, Wyl Menmuir and yoga teacher, swim guide and trail runner, we will immerse you in the landscape, in creative practices, a world of words, and possibly the sea too*. As Bryony leads the walking and wild yoga elements, Wyl will guide you through several writing exercises, and we’ll end the session with tea, cake and a chance to chat writing at Mincarlo. You’ll leave inspired and invigorated and with a notebook full of ideas and techniques to try out. Do bring clothes for all weather, swimming kit (optional), pens and notebooks.

*Depending on weather and tides, there may be an opportunity for a short dip in the sea too.

Cost £15.00
