About

Need some welcome me-time, an excuse to shake off those winter blues, or want to revitalise your soul?

Come and join Nick and Bryony Lishman (from Adventure Scilly and Yoga Scilly) for an early spring treat here on the islands. They’re hosting a very special four-day (three night), all-inclusive Re-boot and Revitalise Wellbeing break over the spring equinox, from 19th to 22nd March 2019.

You’ll be based at their gorgeously friendly guesthouse, Mincarlo, located right on Town Beach with views across the harbour to St. Mary’s Quay and Samson beyond.

Open to just 10 people, this revitalising break starts with a welcoming Orientation walk around The Garrison and the beaches close to Hugh Town, before a pre-dinner yoga session, evening meal and fire pit. On day two, after breakfast, you’ll be guided on a trail run around the coast of St. Mary’s, incorporating a few fun circuits and a fantastic rope swing almost over the water’s edge.  Then, after a healthy lunch, you’ll take a dip in the sea and enjoy a restorative yoga session before a delicious evening dinner.

Day 3 starts with an early rise to catch the spring equinox. You’ll walk in darkness to the Druid’s Chair to watch the sun rise majestically over Cornwall in the distance and enjoy some quiet meditation. After a late breakfast, you’ll take a boat to an off-island for some wild yoga, an explore and an alfresco picnic (or pub lunch, as weather dictates) before returning to St. Mary’s for beach games or a dip in the sea. That evening, Nick and Bryony will host the final dinner, including a special Scilly gin-tasting evening.

On Day 4, you’ll enjoy an invigorating pre-breakfast dip, and a good yomp around the coastline and boulders at Peninnis Head – before collecting your goody bags and heading home or off to lunch at your leisure.

Prices start at £495 per person based on two people sharing (depending on room choice). The Re-boot and Revitalising Break includes accommodation (with ensuite shower room) at Mincarlo Guesthouse, all meals (from Tuesday evening to Friday morning) including the alfresco picnic or one main course and drink at the pub; gin tasting and all the hosted activities. Flights and transfers are not included.

Book online at adventurescilly.co.uk/retreats; email info@adventurescilly.co.uk or contact Bryony on 07815 818831.
