About

Let your spirits soar on St. Agnes with the success story of the returning seabirds. Manx shearwaters, the so-called sirens are mysterious seabirds known for their haunting nocturnal calls which were once mistaken for ghouls by pirates along the West Coast.

Join local zoologist Jaclyn Pearson to learn how the conservation organisations and the community removed every invasive rat to bring back the Manx shearwaters.

We will hear community stories; how local artists how have been inspired by these sirens and farmers and businesses have benefited from the removal of rats.
