Join ARTiculate artists Imogen Bone, Reg Payn (AKA Professor Goodvibes) and Laura Frances Martin for a whole Saturday of free drop-in art workshops on the theme of life saving and communication at sea. We will be helping community participants of all ages to illustrate stories from the Scillies, using heat transfer dyeing on to cloth banners. Beautiful circular lanterns made using these banners will form the heart of our illustrated story-sharing event for the whole community on the Sunday evening.

This Art Scilly activity forms part of Mayes Creative’s Beacons project, celebrating the story of communications on the Lizard Peninsula and the Isles of Scilly, supported by Heritage Lottery Fund, FEAST Cornwall and The Isles of Scilly Steamship Company.
