1. The Organiser of the Isles of Scilly 2024 Photography Competition is the Islands’ Tourism and Business Partnership (IP), Destination Management Company for Visit Isles of Scilly

2. No more than 5 images can be entered per category by each photographer.

3. All entries must be the original work of the entrant taken in 2024 and must not have been previously published, nor must they infringe the rights of any other party. The entrants must be the sole owner of copyright in all photographs entered. 

4. You are responsible for gaining the correct approvals and consents for anyone under the age of 18 who features in entered photographs. 

5. Entries must be provided in a digital format, JPEG format. Minimum file size 1MB to qualify.  

6. Entries should include the Image Title and Name of Photographer 

7. By submitting your photograph(s) for the competition, you agree to grant the Islands’ Partnership (Visit Isles of Scilly) the right to publish free of charge, and to allow associated third parties to publish the photograph online, in print and in all media as required. You also agree to take part in any competition publicity if asked to do so.

8. Employees and Directors of the Islands’ Partnership, plus their immediate families, are not eligible to enter. 

9. All images may be digitally enhanced to reduce spots and scratches, but not manipulated. 

10. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. The Organiser reserves the right to change any aspect of the competition, at any time, without notice.

12. If you opt in on the application form, any data captured can be shared with Hell Bay Hotel and Penzance Helicopters and can be retained by the Islands’ Partnership, including email addresses for marketing purposes. 

13. Deadline for all entries is Monday 14th October.

14. A panel of judges will shortlist images and select the winning photo from there.

15. The prize is a 3-night break for two sharing a twin or double room at Hell Bay Hotel on Bryher on a bed and breakfast basis. Plus, return travel for two aboard Penzance Helicopters from Penzance Heliport to St. Mary’s or Tresco. To be taken during 2025 season, subject to availability. Prizes are also subject to prize givers own terms and conditions. Excludes transfers to/from Tresco or St. Mary’s, but includes transport to and from the quay to hotel on Bryher.

16. The winner of the competition will be notified by Dec 2024. The prize must be redeemed before 31st October 2025 and is non-refundable and subject to availability. No other extras are included.
