Walk Scilly Autumn Weekend 2014
Friday 19th - Sunday 21st September
Welcome to our very first Walk Scilly Weekend.
Three days, seven islands, and eleven walks from which to choose, plus opportunities to go seal snorkelling on St. Martin's, wine tasting at St. Mary's newest attraction, the Holy Vale Winery, and enjoy some excellent music in the evenings courtesy of the incredibly talented string and wind pair, Duo Prospero as well as the Isles of Scilly Folk Club.
September is a wonderful month to visit Scilly. The days are still warm but the more subtle light bathes our landscapes with softer hues, whilst migratory birds begin their annual pilgrimage south, stopping off on the islands on route. The sea too is at its warmest for those looking forward to a late summer dip! But best of all is the walking.
Let Mark Sutcliffe, Editor Country Walking Magazine, tell you Why Scilly is such a paradise for walkers.
This fantastic walking weekend is a great opportunity to explore the islands with some of the most popular of our Walk Scilly Guides. The itinerary includes new walks and exciting routes laced with some old favourites.
