Getting back to nature

It’s that time of year when the days are beautifully drawn out, allowing you to be at one with nature in the great outdoors and around the sea for hours on end. You can idle your time away beach combing, building stone stacks and floating in hammocks hand made from shark nets, or you can walk the islands’ trails, take to kayaks, squeeze in some pub grub along the way and head off to fish for your supper.

And then towards dusk, as the sun dips towards the western horizon, there you are - barbecue fork in one hand, and a long leisurely drink in the other – cooking your catch whilst looking out to sea reflecting on another great day on Scilly.  And when skies grow dark and with so little light pollution, you can simply lie on your back and marvel at the vast array of twinkling stars in the night time. It is an amazing sight to behold.

Welcome to camping Scilly style, guaranteed to regenerate the mind, body and soul.  It really is this good!  Check out our camping options on all our inhabited islands – from the full glamping experience to something a little more down to earth by the sea, there really is something for everyone.
