Juliet's Garden on St. Mary's has been named as the best cafe in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly at the Great Cornish Food Awards, organised by Cornwall Food & Drink. The awards were announced at a ceremony held at Trelissick Gardens in Feock, near Truro on Monday. They celebrate the very best food and drink talent in Cornwall and Scilly.

Owner, Juliet May, who has run the cafe, restaurant and bar for the past 32 years, is delighted to have picked up the award on behalf of the team. "We work very hard to ensure that every customer has a fantastic experience when they come to Juliet's, and we use locally-sourced produce at every opportunity," she says. "That combination, plus of course our sunny terrace and lovely views, is a great recipe for success. I cannot thank my team enough," she adds. "This award is a credit to all their hard work, tenacity and lovely welcome they give our guests."

The Great Cornish Food Awards were established to recognise businesses that go to the greatest lengths to ‘buy local’ as well as leaders in product development and marketing, outstanding individuals and those bringing something new to the food scene.
