Group of puffins

Puffins have been spotted once again on Scilly, heralding the start of the puffin's annual adventure on our islands. Between 100 and 200 pairs come and nest on eight of the uninhabited islands around the Western Rocks, including Annet, from the mid-April to mid-July. There are numerous boat trips laid on to allow you to get up close to these delightful birds, some with on-board guides so that you can learn more about the breeding habits of these magnificent auks.  Find out more about  Scilly's Habitats and Wildlife and trips and tours you can take across the islands.
