The Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust - St. Mary's
Scilly has a fascinating historical past and it's easy to explore ~ just take a walk, a cycle, a buggy ride or one of the tours available! Whether you're after Bronze Age or Iron Age Monuments, something from the 16th or 18th Centuries or even something from more recent history, then Scilly has lots to offer!
The Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust is a local independent charity which looks after more than 60% of the islands through the help of volunteers, membership, grants, donations and legacies. The Trust look after the footpaths (last year we cut 17 miles of Scilly paths, THREE times), ancient monuments and restore and maintain habitats for the benefit of people and wildlife, on both the habited and uninhabited islands.
Please do consider becoming a member of the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust; by becoming a member you provide much needed funding which allows the Trust to continue its work; this in turn supports residents and visitors alike to enjoy our beautiful islands, you can also receive a regular E-Newsletter from the Trust explaining what’s been going on for us and what we’ve been doing around the islands.
