About

This traditional Scillonian granite cottage was newly refurbished for the 2014 season, after being our family home for almost 10 years. The cottage was the location for Gracie's house in the film 'When the Whales Came' and offers high quality, comfortable accommodation with a wide range of facilities. It's old cottage charm has been retained in the beams and original stone fireplaces.

Glenhope has one double bedded room and one twin bedded room, both with views over Great Porth beach towards Samson Hill. Downstairs is a living-dining room, with comfy leather sofas and cosy reading nook. The kitchen has an American style fridge freezer with ice maker and water cooler, plenty of cupboard space and built in appliances. The newly fitted full bathroom is fully tiled and has a shower over the bath.

Glenhope has it's own area within the large shared garden, as well as a private secluded seating area to the front of the cottage.

Dogs are most welcome.
