Véritable passion insulaire, la gastronomie est constamment à l’honneur… notamment au festival de gastronomie annuel de Tresco & Bryher.

Les Scilly ne manquent pas d’excellents restaurants qui se feront une fierté de vous présenter nos produits… En vacances pendant une semaine ou deux ? Vous n’aurez pas à visiter deux fois le même restaurant… à moins que vous n’en ayez envie bien sûr !

Vous recherchez un restaurant avec vue, un pub à l’atmosphère douillette, un apéritif sur la plage après le coucher du soleil, un dîner gourmet al fresco ou une collation rapide ? Vous n’avez que l’embarras du choix ! Quant aux plus aventureux, ils pourront même aller en mer pêcher leur propre dîner ou rechercher des crabes sur la plage !

Les fermes proposent souvent leurs produits à partir de stands en bord de route… avec au menu fruits et légumes frais, confitures, marmelades, caramels mous faits maison, œufs frais et bien plus encore ! N’oubliez pas de vous munir de monnaie car la plupart des stands fonctionnent sans surveillance et vous invitent à déposer l’argent directement dans une boîte. St. Mary’s accueille également des marchés de producteurs locaux pendant toute la saison, généralement à la mairie.
