St. Agnes is a very small island; circa 85 people live here. And small places have few places to eat. But whilst you won’t be spoilt for choice on St. Agnes, you won’t be disappointed either – because everywhere here offers a delicious and varied menu, with local island ingredients at the fore.
Two minutes from the quay is the Turks Head – a pub with a seriously good pub terrace and a view of the quay and the islands beyond. Stride on and you’ll reach a lovely tea room which doubles as a takeway pizza two nights a week – look out for the fantastic collection of tea pots) and further on you’ll find another café with ocean views and a fabulous garden. This place turns into an amazing restaurant in the evening, described by one luxury magazine journalist as the best dining experience across Scilly. If you’ve still room then don’t forget to stop by Troytown Farm for an ice-cream and other lovely delicious dairy produce!
