Places to Eat & Drink
Pull up a stool at a Scillonian café or shack; find a sea view for a sundowner, enjoy al fresco dining, find some great pub grub, or simply grab a takeaway for a treat on the beach. There are plenty of places across Scilly to tuck in!
The Ruin Beach Café is open all day serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. At the heart of the restaurant – and the menu – is the wood-fired oven that produces delicious pizzas, roasts the succulent beef and fresh fish, as well as baking the bread. It’s fuelled with island wood, and brings a real flavour of the Mediterranean to the cooking.
High Tide Seafood Restaurant is a boutique restaurant on St Agnes owned & run by Chef Mark Eberlein & his small team. I use local ingredients to produce some of the islands best food which pair up well with my hand picked wine list. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 6.30pm with boats from St Marys most evenings, bookings highly recommended on 01720 423869 or www.hightide-seafood.com
Juliet's Garden is a well established, family run business which was created over 30 years ago on Seaways Farm, overlooking the harbour and seascape. Above Porthloo on St Mary's, its friendly atmosphere and fresh food have made it a great favourite with visitors and locals alike.
Karma St. Martin’s, the islands' only hotel sits on a stunning site that spans 2.8 hectares and has panoramic coastal views of the South West shore - a perfect location for a drink, snack or meal . The 4* hotel has a restaurant, bar, lounge, and al fresco dining, just moments from the beach. Delighted to have been award 2 Rosettes in 2018 from the AA!
The Kaffehaus has expanded! Come and try our new outlet in town with a view directly over Town Beach! Enjoy a perfect cup of Italian coffee and some famous apfelstrudel. We also offer panini, pretzels and other snacks to sit in or take away. You'll find us down the alleyway behind the Steamship office.
