Cowrie is a second floor holiday apartment in Hugh Town, St Mary’s which is only a stones throw from two beautiful beaches and a five minute walk to the harbour. It is on the top floor of a traditional Scillonian granite building with stunning, panoramic views over the harbour and other islands beyond. The apartment sleeps six in a double and two twin bedded rooms (one of which can also be a superking) and also has space to accommodate a travel cot, which we supply. We also can provide a bed guard for one of the single beds.

We welcome families with children of all ages but also cater for romantic getaways and groups, with champagne glasses and cookies on arrival for an added touch of luxury.

As local owners we know how special Scilly is, so we have taken the time to fully renovate Cowrie to provide excellent accommodation in a stunning setting. All linen and towels are provided for your stay, including beach towels on request. If you have little ones (or big ones!) then make use of our beach combing buckets and spades to find hidden treasure, or simply enjoy sitting by the window, reading a book and watching the world go by. Our kitchen is fully equipped, including a nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/ freezer, oven and hob and we provide toddler bowls and plates as well as a high chair. There is also a radio, a range of books and board games available for cosy nights in and a flatscreen HDTV in the lounge area to enjoy. All electricity and WIFI is included.The bathroom features a shower over the bath, heated towel rail and a touch sensitive light-up mirror.
