About
Polreath is a small and friendly, family-run, bed and breakfast, situated in a stunning garden setting on the beautiful island of St. Martin’s. With delicious home-cooking, far-reaching sea views, comfortable bedrooms, and friendly hosts, this is just a taste of what’s to come when you stay at Polreath.
Every morning you can look forward to a hearty breakfast cooked fresh to order and served in our light and airy conservatory. Choose from vanilla infused prune compote with natural yogurt, porridge with thunder and lightning followed by the full English or maybe just eggs from our chickens, poached and served with pan fried back bacon.
Three nights a week, Jason produces superb evening meals, offering you the best of home-grown and locally sourced produce. Dine in our light and airy conservatory or al fresco on the deck or in the garden amongst the tree ferns. On Friday nights Jason cooks exclusively for you, usually local fish. Monday night is Curry Night and popular with the locals and Thursday night is the best of traditional British cooking. As we are licensed, why not enjoy a glass of local wine or beer with your meal.
Our locally renowned Tea Room is generally open Sunday to Thursday for tea, coffee, delicious home-baked cakes, freshly prepared lunches, afternoon cream teas and Moomaid ice cream.
Just five minutes walk from Par Beach and Higher Town Quay, Polreath is the ideal base for island exploration.
