About

We pride ourselves on the fact that everything in the bakery is handmade and freshly prepared on the premises, using the finest local and Cornish ingredients wherever possible.

Our bread is baked each morning and we have a selection of white, granary and wholemeal available every day. We also have a guest bread that changes weekly, this can range from a walnut loaf to sundried tomato ciabatta.

We have a large range of savoury options including the ever popular Cornish pasty.  Our pasties are made to the traditional recipe and contain Cornish skirt steak, diced turnip, swede and potato along with onion. We also have our increasingly popular spicy vegetable pasties. Our smaller hot savouries include sausage rolls, bacon and cheese frazzles and a cheese and caramelised onion slice.

Each morning we prepare filled rolls. The rolls are very substantial and perfect for packing in a rucksack. We use good quality ingredients including free range chicken, Cornish ham, local crab and local salad, just to name a few. In our cold cabinet we also have an ever changing selection including mini homity pies and Provence tarts.

For those staying on St. Martins we have a take away pizza menu. Our thin crust pizzas are made fresh to order using our sundried tomato pizza dough, a rich tomato sauce, cheddar and mozzarella along with a range of toppings.

Our sweet cabinet contains a few firm favourites including pecan pie, apricot and almond flapjack and white chocolate and cranberry cookies. We also have a variety of homemade cakes including our chocolate and cola cake and sticky ginger slice. We aim to have a gluten free option available, the most popular being our cherry and almond slice.

We have a selection of take away drinks. Our cold option is traditional lemonade that we make from scratch using a tried and tested recipe. Hot drinks include tea, hot chocolate and a selection of coffees including cappuccino and latte. Our coffee is made using freshly ground Fair Trade beans.
