This accreditation ensures that properties meet industry standards for being safe, legal, and clean through independent assessment. All accommodations listed with Visit Isles of Scilly must meet these minimum requirements or hold a VisitEngland rating, guaranteeing quality and peace of mind for visitors.

Several properties are also recognised by Green Tourism for their efforts to reduce environmental impact. Energy and water efficiency, recycling, minimising waste and use of local produce are all taken into account.
