Scilly's Natural Magnetism

Attractions

It must be said from the outset that the Isles of Scilly does not have “formal” tourist attractions. There are no theme parks or on-tap entertainment – and that’s the charm of these peaceful islands. However, we do offer a wealth of remarkable natural attractions. From the world-renowned Tresco Abbey Garden, home to 20,000 exotic species from around the globe, to Elizabethan castles, ancient Bronze Age sites, burial chambers, iconic shipwreck landmarks, and stunning lighthouses like Bishop Rock.

The islands blend heritage, maritime history, and vibrant culture, with stunning landscapes and a deep connection to the sea. Their legacy, from ancient sites to seafaring traditions, is seen in shipwrecks, lighthouses, and local stories. Scilly’s rich culture of art, music, and community makes it a true cultural gem of the British Isles.
