Get your cameras ready - our much-loved annual photography competition is back for 2025, and this year we're calling on you to capture the magic of the islands through one of our inspiring new themes. 

This popular competition celebrates everything that makes Scilly so special - from dreamy light and unforgettable adventures to charming places to stay and time well spent with loved ones (pets included!). Whether you're a budding photographer, seasoned pro, or simply captured the perfect moment on your phone, we’d love to see the islands through your eyes.

The fantastic prize package is worth over £1500 and includes:

 - Two Adult Return Tickets aboard Scillonian III passenger ferry operated by Isles of Scilly Travel, the primary travel provider to the Isles of Scilly for over 100 years. Your journey sets off from Penzance and cruises past spectacular Cornish landmarks like the Minack Theatre and Land’s End - along a route recently crowned the UK’s top ferry crossing for wildlife spotting. This is your chance to enjoy a truly unique adventure, and experience a true taste of the Isles of Scilly, just 28 miles off the coast of Cornwall.

- A 3-night bed and breakfast stay for two at the 4-star Star Castle Hotel on St. Mary’s, including one dinner for two at one of their award-winning restaurants. Star Castle is a 38-bedroom hotel boasting traditional sixteenth-century castle accommodation and spacious contemporary suites within 4 acres of secluded gardens.

How to Enter:

Step 1: Grab your camera and take a photo on the Isles of Scilly in 2025. Use the following five themes for inspiration for your photo (or photos - you can enter up to five):

• People and Places to Stay - Think dreamy nights beneath the stars, the aesthetics of your accommodation, or the people you meet along the way.
• Love Your Dog - Celebrate the joy of time well spent with your furry companion
• Big Adventures for Little Explorers - Capture kids embracing the outdoors, playing, adventuring, and going wild in nature
• Dreamy Light - Sunsets, sunrises, golden hour glow - show us the islands bathed in magical light
• Cosy Breaks - For couples seeking romance, connection, and memorable moments in beautiful places

Step 2: You'll be able to submit up to five of your favourite photos from 2025. Upload the photos in the form below. Entries should include the island where the photo was taken and the name of the photographer.

Finalists will be selected by a panel of judges, and the winner will be chosen by public vote on our social media channels.
