Travel on board Scillonian III Passenger Ferry
Arriving in the Isles of Scilly by ferry from Penzance, after a scenic 2 hour 45 minute mini-cruise, is an unforgettable experience. As soon as you set sail aboard Scillonian III with Isles of Scilly Travel, you’ll already sense the gentler pace of life; your journey allows you time to relax. The voyage offers stunning seaside views of Cornwall’s shores, the world-renowned open air Minack Theatre and the Land’s End peninsula. Quite often, the ship is joined and followed by pods of dolphins, a raft of seabirds and sometimes even basking sharks. So by the time you arrive in Scilly and disembark on the main island of St. Mary’s, you’re bound to be in holiday mode. Travelling with your four-legged companion isn't an issue. Dogs love the salty sea air!
Scillonian III ferry runs between March and November six days a week, seven in high season with double sailings on a Saturday during the peak season. It leaves Penzance Harbour (exceptionally low tides withstanding), at 09:15 arriving in Scilly at 12 noon. It then leaves Scilly at 16:30 arriving in Penzance at 19:10.
