Things to do on St. Martin's

Find your inner self on St. Martin’s. You can walk the length of this gorgeous island and its swathes of magnificent white beaches and barely see another soul. Watch for the kestrels and peregrines as they swoop above in the updraft, make a date with the iconic red and white Daymark and then book in for a truly amazing experience – snorkelling with seals. You can also hire kayaks, beachcomb for beautiful shells, visit the vineyard and galleries, and watch Fay Page at work in her jewellery studio.  Then, when the sun dips behind the horizon, head up to the observatory and admire the night skies.

The best way to get around St. Martin’s is on foot. Nothing is too far, and it can easily be done in a day. However, you can hire kayaks up at Higher Town (not far from the quay) if you fancy seeing St. Martin’s from a different perspective. If you’re tired or weary, a passing quad or tractor might offer a ride, but with no roads to speak of, don’t expect much else!
