About
Scilly Walks is run by Dr Katharine Sawyer and offers guided walks, boat trips and slideshows to introduce you to 8000 years of archaeology and history in the Isles of Scilly. There are full day and half day visits to all the inhabited - and several of the uninhabited - islands, led by Katharine or her husband, Chas Wood. We can also provide private guided walks, either general interest or archaeological.
Charges: full-day walks £14.00 adults, £7.00 children; half-day walks £7.00 adults, £3.50 children. Not including boat/bus/taxi fares, if appropriate.
Katharine's 'Scilly through the Ages' slideshow is on Monday evenings in the Methodist Hall, Church Street, Hugh Town, starting at 8.15pm. Admission: £5.00 adults, £2.50 children.
***During the summer of 2020 I will be offering private walks for a maximum of 10 people per walk. The charge for these is £70.00 for a half day (2 to 3 hours) and £140.00 for a full day, not including boat/taxi fares, if appropriate. Morning, afternoon and full day walks are available on St Mary's, with afternoon and full day walks on the off-islands.
